Falcons Icon Julio Jones Announces NFL Retirement in Video After 13 Seasons
Julio Jones' spectacular NFL career has officially come to a close.
The seven-time Pro Bowler announced on social media that he has retired from the NFL after 13 seasons. He last played in 2023 for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Jones spent the majority of his career with the Atlanta Falcons and had brief stints with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tennessee Titans and Eagles.
Jones finishes his career with 13,703 receiving yards and 66 touchdowns. He spent 10 of his 13 seasons with the Falcons, where he earned all of his Pro Bowl and All-Pro nods.
He also played in 11 career playoff games, registering 992 yards and seven touchdowns. He and the Falcons notably reached Super Bowl LI but fell to the New England Patriots in overtime.
He is the Falcons' all-time leader in receiving yards and catches, while he is second in touchdowns. Since he did not play in the 2024 NFL season, he will first be eligible for the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2028.
