FLEETWOOD, Pa. - The Cabrini University men's golf team completed the Atlantic East Conference Spring Championship at Golden Oaks Golf Club. The Cavaliers combined for a team score of 654, finishing runner-up to first place Marymount University by just two strokes.

Liam Caspar earned his second consecutive individual Championship title, shooting 148 (+4), a full nine strokes better than the second place finisher. Caspar had the best score on both days of the tournament en route to being named the Atlantic East Conference Golfer of the Year and earning his fourth career appearance on the All-Conference First Team.
Mitch Walz represented Cabrini on the Atlantic East All-Conference Second Team with an individual score of 167 (+23). Walz tied for the second best score on Monday, shooting 79 (+7) in Round 2.
Frankie Sass and
Dan Murphy narrowly missed the cut for All-Conference team selections. Sass finished 11th overall with a two day score of 170, three strokes short of an AEC Second Team honor. Murphy was 172 across both rounds, 12th overall, five strokes shy of a spot on the All-Conference Second Team.
Jaxon Tomlin placed third on the Cavaliers in Round One, helping Cabrini stay within striking distance. Tomlin shot 86 (+14) on Sunday and 89 (+17) on Monday, good for 15th overall with a total score of 175.
