𝗦𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗘𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗽𝘀𝗲 - 𝗔 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗼𝗻 Today, the northern hemisphere will witness a partial solar eclipse, meaning that the Earth will only be hit by the penumbra of the moon. This cosmic interplay of light and shadow is reflected in the groundbreaking Ignis/Ex Nihilo concept note designed by the Bundesdruckerei-Gruppe. KURZ is proud to contribute to this world's first black banknote and to stimulate dialogue about the future of money. A metallic flame flares up on the almost completely black reverse side, which was created using our KINEGRAM COLORS® laminating film. A securely encrypted chip in the carrier material, protected by our KINEGRAM® APL solution, also enables the banknote to be used as a supplement to central bank digital currency (CBDC). ➡️ Looking to the future of solar eclipses, the southern hemisphere will next enjoy a partial solar eclipse on the evening of 21 September this year.
