There are numerous spam repositories on GitHub, along with various politically disruptive and anti-national repositories.
The README.md files of these spam repositories contain an overwhelming amount of content and characters—enough to match almost any keyword I search for. Whether I look up "HTML website template" or "Educational Management System," these spam repositories appear in my search results simply because their README files include these terms.
When I'm trying to find relevant resources, these spam repositories clutter my search results and disrupt my workflow.
These repositories are incredibly persistent—no matter how many times my friends and I report them, they remain online. I don’t know whether GitHub tolerates spam and political content or if there’s another reason behind this, but I don't care. All I want is for these repositories to stop appearing in my search results.
So, I’d like to ask: how can I block a specific user or repository from showing up in my search results?
