MAGIC's Participation at DIPEX 2025: Driving Innovation and Startup Ecosystem Engagement MAGIC Business Incubator SME Accelerator marked its impactful presence at DIPEX 2025, held from April 3 to 6, 2025, at the College of Engineering Pune - COEP Technological University. Organized by Srujan Trust and Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), the event served as a grand platform where MAGIC showcased its role in the startup ecosystem, offered guidance to aspiring innovators, and highlighted the range of services it provides to support new ideas and ventures. Maharashtra Chief Minister Shri Devendra Fadnavis inaugurated the event and applauded the youth for addressing critical issues like climate change through innovation. He closely observed the startup models and projects presented by students and remarked, “According to the Startup India report, Maharashtra leads the nation in terms of the number of startups and investment received. Maharashtra has emerged as the startup capital of India – surpassing traditional hubs like Bengaluru and Hyderabad. Today, students from ITIs, polytechnics, and engineering colleges in tier-2 and tier-3 cities are developing ideas that simplify lives and ease business – this is the true spirit of a startup.” The event was also graced by Industries Minister Shri Uday Samant, Higher and Technical Education Minister Shri Chandrakant Patil, and Skill Development Minister Shri Mangal Prabhat Lodha, who interacted with the students and appreciated their ingenuity. DIPEX 2025 revolved around key innovation themes like mobility, energy, cybersecurity, agritech, medtech, defense, and other emerging sectors. As an ecosystem partner, MAGIC actively engaged with participants to bridge the gap between ideas and enterprise. MAGIC team members Krishna Tekale and Shashikant Tiwari represented the council and interacted with students, sharing insights on startup opportunities, incubation support, and entrepreneurial resources. MAGIC Director Mr. Ashish Garde also participated in the event, engaging in strategic discussions with dignitaries including AICTE Chairman Prof. T. G. Sitharam, Savitribai Phule Pune University Vice-Chancellor Dr. Satish Gosavi, and Srujan Trust Chairman Mr. Ram Bhogle. Mr. Garde emphasized the importance of collaboration between academia, industry, and incubators, and highlighted the crucial role incubation plays in transforming student innovations into viable ventures. He stated that DIPEX 2025 stood as a remarkable example of synergy between educational institutions, industry, and startup enablers.
