The dataset contains records of the Bryophyte Flora (Bryophyta: mosses, liverworts, hornworts) collected in the scope of the Complementary Studies [2011] and the Ecological Monitoring Program (2012-2015) of the Environmental Impact Assessment of the Foz Tua Hydroelectric Dam, promoted by EDP – Energias de Portugal, S.A.
Data and specimens were collected in the spring or autumn between 2011-2015, during field visits to 49 sampling points distributed along the river Tua sub-basin. Two additional points were surveyed in rivers Pinhão and Corgo, in the Douro river sub-basin, in 2015. The number of bryophyte taxa registered was 170 (133 mosses; 36 liverworts; one hornwort).
The collection was established in 2011-09-17 and ceased acquisitions in 2015-03-07.
