Source : MS 31-Pateman, Yvonne C./ WASP Format : application/pdf United States Air Force AcademyDescription
MS 31 is one of the most comprehensive collections available regarding the history of the WASP. It consists of correspondence, reports, personal narratives, oral histories, photographs and printed matter related to the history of the WASP during World War II, as well as their post-war struggle for acknowledgement and benefits. The collection was donated to Clark Special Collections in 1988. It consists of twenty-six “volumes” of materials divided into twenty-six boxes, plus an additional three addendums divided among two boxes. Descriptions for the addendums can be found in the pages following those of the primary collection, at the end of the document. Efforts to maintain Pateman’s original organizational structure were made during processing. However, some additional materials that were not accounted for in the original index have been added to the finding aid. Likewise, materials from the index that were not located have been removed. A brief overview of the contents of each volume
