Jay Reatard and Sonic Youth’s Rare Split Single Getting Reissued: Listen

Proceeds from “Hang Them All” and “No Garage” will go to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

In 2009, Matador Records released a now out-of-print Record Store Day split single from Jay Reatard and Sonic Youth. Jay’s song was “Hang Them All,” which appeared on his final album Watch Me Fall. Sonic Youth contributed a new song called “No Garage.” The split will be reissued on split black and white vinyl, and it is now available on streaming services. All proceeds will go to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Listen to “Hang Them All” and “No Garage” below.

Jay Reatard’s early band the Lost Sounds just reissued their album Black Wave. Sonic Youth recently released the live album Battery Park, NYC: July 4, 2008.
