Sucks to hear about the review bombing… Talk about petty

Basara anime reboot would be awesome. It would also encourage Viz to reprint the series

Thanks for the interview, never heard of this podcast before this article came out (I do listen to podcasts BTW). Any interview and exposure is good for them, and I say this as someone who listens to podcasts.

I imagine if the Red River omnibuses do well enough Viz would likely re-release more older shojo manga releases physically, and Basara would be a perfect pick for omnibuses.

I also have never heard of Shoujo Sundae before (I don't really listen to podcasts, but I've at least heard of or sampled a few here & there), but congrats to them regardless. They've obviously found a niche that truly appreciates what they're doing & here's hoping they continue to do so for a long time.

Thanks very much to Giana and Chika for the mention! If you'd like to hear our collaborations with Shoujo Sundae to date, you can hear Clarissa on episode 78 of Shoujo Sundae recapping some of the later episodes of Fruits Basket, and both Giana and Chika joined us for episode 227 of Anime World Order where we reviewed ION by Arina Tanemura.

I've been listening to Giana & Chika's episodes for the past year or so.
They really fill a valuable space for shoujosei material and their fanbase, which is so often overlooked in the popular industry market. So happy for their success!
