YOASOBI
J-pop duo YOASOBI -- which consists of songwriter-producer Ayase and singer ikura -- got its start by forming for a project by creative writing site monogatary.com. The pair released their first song, "Yoru ni Kakeru" in November 2019, and topped the Japan Hot 100 in May 2020; it peaked at No. 16 on the Billboard Global 200. The group's first EP, 'The Book,' debuted in January 2021.
