Childhelp is proud to have made significant progress towards our mission of helping victims of child abuse and neglect through prevention, intervention and treatment. It’s through these programs that we have transformed the lives of children nationwide — but there’s still so much more to do.

Childhelp Speak Up Be Safe®
Childhelp Speak Up Be Safe is a pioneering school-based child abuse prevention program for grades pre-K–12. Covering physical, emotional and sexual abuse, as well as neglect, bullying, and online abuse, the curriculum originated from the “Good Touch, Bad Touch” program. Childhelp, in collaboration with research partners, such as Arizona State University, expanded it to scripted lessons with facilitator training modules. Recognized as evidence-based by the California Evidence-Based Clearinghouse for Child Welfare, Childhelp Speak Up Be Safe is used globally. Lessons are available in English and Spanish, with facilitators receiving additional materials. The inaugural Childhelp Speak Up Be Safe Impact report highlights its transformative impact on children’s lives, both in the U.S. and worldwide.
