Description of the flag

The Town of Onoway (population: 1036) is located in central Alberta, west of Edmonton.

The flag of the Town of Onoway features a residential building, commercial building, grain elevators and water tower. Also depicted on this flag is the town�s motto, �Hub of the Highways�. Near the town�s boundaries, Highways 37 and 43 converge. The color green on a white background reflects the agricultural basis of the local economy.
