"The Contralor�a de Bogot� D.C.
was established by Acuerdo (English: Agreement) 23 of September 1929 by the
Concejo Municipal (English: Municipality (City) Council) of Bogot�, as "Contralor�a
Municipal de Bogot�" (Municipali Comptroller of Bogota) and changed its name in
1955 to "Contralor�a de Bogot� Distrito Especial" (English: Comprtroller of
Botoa Special District), then "Contralor�a de Santa Fe de Bogot�" (English:
Comptroller of Santa Fe de Bogota) and then finally its current name, "Contralor�a
de Bogot�, Distrito Capital" (English: Comptroller of Bogota, Capital District).
It is in charge of fiscal management of the city."

was first established by Resoluci�n Reglamentaria (English: Regulatory
Resolution) 017 of June 13, 2014 and its description is as stated in Article 2:
The flag of the Contralor�a de Bogot� D.C., is composed by a white background,
representing transparency in the exercise of the Fiscal Control and fight
against corruption, having a yellow and red (fimbriated alternatively,
representing the colors of Bogot�), regarding the territorial scope of the
entity, which is Bogot� Distrito Capital" (translated from original). In Article
3 it mentions the following: The material and the measurements of the flag of
the Contralor�a de Bogot� shall abide by the following characteristics: Flag for
use indoors: 1.35 cm (long) and 10cm (wide) and an additional 10 cm (wide) fold
for grommets on its pole. It shall be tailored in satin. Flag for use outdoors:
2.40 cm (long) by 1.50 cm (tall). It shall be tailored in waterproof fabric. In
the middle, the logosymbol of the Contralor�a de Bogot� D.C. is located, adopted
by Resolution No. 22 of June 11, 2002. (translated from original)". The
logosymbol was established by Resoluci�n Reglamentaria (English: Regulatory
Resolution) No. 022 of June 11, 2002.
Its institutional (corporate)
