Birkenwerder Coat of Arms
Shield Argent, a birch proper issuant from a triplemount Or on a base wavy Azure.
Meaning:
Half of the municipal area is foretal, symbolised by the birch. The base wavy is representing Briese River and the local lakes Boddensee, Briesesee and M�nchsee. The triplemount. The yellow colour of the tiplemount is alluding to the sandy soil.
