Needs Work…A Lot of Work

I don’t know where to start this review as I don’t quite know what “Sexed by Six: Balancing Lust and Deception” is. Things happen. There are characters. But beyond that…there’s not much more. Jason is the main character and the book is told from his point of view as well as his fiancé, Jasmine; his best friends, William and Demarcus; Jasmine’s best friend, Tyra; and a chick named Keisha. That’s your six and they all do have sex. But again…there’s not much more beyond that. There is zero character development apart from knowing each character’s name and a general physical description. Things happen, the characters do things, but there is no plot development. And the things that happen don’t always add up or make sense because readers have nothing to go on. Because of that, I found myself simply reading through the 155 pages just to complete it. I wasn’t vested in the story or its character. The author gave me no reason to be. Also, “Sexed by Six” is in desperate need of editing.

As is, I cannot recommend “Sexed by Six: Balancing Lust and Deception.” I’d strongly urge the author to seek the assistance of a qualified developmental editor as well as a copy editor.

Jazz and Jay have been together for years. She is begging to get marries he is still out in the street like he's a single man. Jay has been receiving threats and ignoring them for just as many years.

Will and Dee are Jay's best friends. Will works hard and has never been the type to sleep with a lot of women and Dee is in love with Jazz's friend Tyra.

After Jay mess with the wrong woman his world comes crashing down and he is forced to tell Jazz the truth. This truth set off a string of events but Jazz always forgive Jay, will this time be any different?

Will meets Kiesha and is in blind love. Will she be the woman he's always dreamed about or the stuff nightmares are made of?

Tyra and Dee are hilarous together. I thought they save this book. But will they ever get together or will Dee keep his feelings to himself.

This was an okay read, but it needs to be re-edited. The errors take away from the flow of the book. I think, if possible, it's worth the author going in and fixing the errors. Sometimes a few small errors can be over looks but there are words missing and in the wrong order.
