This is a place for listeners of the Book Cougars: Two Middle-Aged Women on the Hunt for a Good Read to come together to talk about books, authors, and other literary topics. A note on our terminology. "READALONG" - This is what we call our quarterly book pick that we invite all listeners to read with us. A few years ago we started having an annual theme to help focus our selections. We host a Zoom video discussion with those who'd like to participate and listeners can write in and ask us to discuss particular questions they have or various aspects of the book when we record our conversation for the podcast. It's pretty much a quarterly book club. Let us know if you have a theme you'd like us to consider. "BUDDY READ" - This is a lower-key joint read of a book that we want to experience with other readers. We'll often create a discussion thread for a buddy read here on Goodreads and invite anyone who'd like to read with us to join in.

[close] What The French Toast is a story channel on YouTube that I have been writing for the past 2 years now. This has been a fantastic exercise in keeping up my wits as a writer. Having slowed down as a full-time author and being on radio full time as a voice personality, it's gotten me several voice acting jobs and now I'm excited to be one of the main voices for "What The French Toast" and to be writing horror for them.
