HighSchoolOT's All-State wrestling team for 2022-23 season
HighSchoolOT's third-annual all-state wrestling team features 48 wrestlers making at least their second appearance on the team.
Of those 48, 16 of them were three-time all-state wrestlers: Uwharrie Charter's Aldo Hernandez, Hough's Brandt Fajerman, Fred T. Foard's Brayden Mejia, Zane Birtchet and Brock Carey, Corinth Holders' Caleb Beaty, Mallard Creek's Cameron Stinson, Central Cabarrus' Charleston Baglio and Jackson Baglio, Northwest Guilford's Drew Pepin, Surry Central's Jeremiah Price, Robbinsville's Kage Williams, Porter Ridge's Nathan Carnes, Reidsville's R.J. (Rayshun) James, Cary's Sam Grena, and Cardinal Gibbons' Tyler Tracy.
Price is a four-time N.C. High School Athletic Association champ, one of just 12 to ever earn that distinction.

There are two wrestlers per weight class on the first, second, and third teams respectively. Then, 24 honorable mention all-state wrestlers are selected without regard to weight class (for instance, 106 pounds could have three HM all-state wrestlers, while 113 could have zero).
