When Beth reads the card from Tiffany, there is no mention of her last name. Yet, she asks, "Who is Tiffany Henderson?"

While driving a Ford Taurus at the beginning of their trip, the view out the front window shows the dashboard of the bus used later in the film.

When the four boys are driving down the road in Kyle's car, there is no space in the front car bumper for a license plate. But before they jump the bridge there is a gap in the bumper where a license plate has been removed.

Barry says he's never left Ithaca, but later he mentions going to his grandparents house when he was 7, and his grandparents live in Texas.

In the beginning of movie Josh puts 3 stamps on the envelope to Tiffany. When he gets the mail back in Austin it has 8 stamps. While his friends could have added them when they went to the post office, it's unlikely that they managed to also move the stamps closer together and change both the address and return address, which are completely different.

When they are about to jump the bridge Rubin says that the car weighs 1,600lbs. Even a Honda Fit weighs 2,500 lbs. The Taurus weighs 3,800 - 4,000 lbs.

When Josh tries to call Tiffany after having the bad dream he only pushes 7 digits as if making a local call when she supposedly is in Austin, Texas. He should have pushed 11 digits to place the long distance call.

When the tires fall off the car after jumping the river, the lug nuts on the wheel hub should not be screwed off. The tires and hubs should have fallen off as a unit.

The car that the four guys start in has West Virginia plates, however the car does not have the required inspection sticker on the windshield in the lower right hand corner.

The only pets allowed in a dorm are fully aquatic pets. Snakes and mice would be strictly forbidden.

The waiter at the diner could get fired for licking Kyle's French toast even so much as putting the French toast in his pants both front and back even between the genitals and bare butt and underwear. Kyle would've got sick too.

When they load up Kyle's Taurus for the road trip, it has a West Virginia license plate. Later, the film shows Kyle's parents eating at a restaurant in "Upstate New York", which they've been going to "every day for twenty years". However, this statement is proven to be wrong/a joke, so the license plate is not necessarily inconsistent.

When Josh leaves his Philosophy class he finds out that he needs a B+ on his midterm to pass the class. When they walk outside there are bright green leaves on the trees. This is consistent with midterms in early October, which is consistent with, e.g., Cornell's academic calendar.

Andy Dick's reflection is visible in the motel TV's reflection. He is making faces and smiling and both are out of character.

While they are in the diner waiting for new french toast, the waiter comes over to refill the coffee. While he is talking to them, he puts his hand on the bottom (metal section) of the pot of supposedly "hot" coffee.

When Barry is feeding the snake there is clearly visible plastic tape around its mouth. With this tape the snake wouldn't be able to open its mouth.

When they are exiting the highway to the college in Austin, the exit sign says "University of Texas" instead of "University of Austin" as it is referred to in the film.

When Tiffany starts watching Josh's video, we see that it's different from that which was made at the beginning of the movie. This one leaves out such phrases as, (Beth) "Do you feel better yet?" (Josh) "I feel a little bit better, yeah..." Besides it zooms at the moment Beth was taking off her skirt so she couldn't do that herself.

When Beth is talking to the girl in the locker room, the voices do not match with the lips' movement. I found this on repeated viewings because who would look at her mouth in this scene?

The motel clerk's lips continue moving after he finishes his cue "Is there anything else I can help you with?"

When Barry is begging Mitch to eat the mouse, he is hitting the high E string on the guitar. However, a lower pitched tone is heard.

When Josh goes back to Tiffany's room with her after the mailroom incident, he closes the door behind him. A crew member's hand can be seen going up to catch the door as it shuts.

In the fight scene in Austin, shadows of the crew are visible.

On the package being mailed to Austin TX, the ZIP code is 50321. All Austin ZIP codes start with 787; 50321 is Des Moines, Iowa.

Texas A&M is the only school/university/college in Texas that has a veterinary school. There is no vet school in Austin.

The guys are in the bus leaving UT Knoxville when they show they go through Memphis, but then show background streets of Broadway St. in Nashville.

The campus in the movie is flat. The one portion of Ithaca that is flat is in a deep valley. There is no flat part of Ithaca without hills visible in the background.

The Gwinnett Diner, where they eat French toast, is so named because it's located in Gwinnett County, Georgia.

In the scene where the guys first board the school bus outside the diner, a boom mic is visible in the reflection of the door.

When Rubin is trying to convince Kyle to let them jump the bridge, he says that the car weighs 1600 lbs, and with the humans and cargo it weighs 2100 lbs. However, 4 adult males would weigh more than 125 pounds each. And that does not count the weight of their belongings.

When Barry offers to feed Mitch, Rubin tells him that there is a box of brown mice next to Mitch's cage. The mouse Barry attempts to feed Mitch is completely white.

That's not what Rubin said he told Barry that there is a brown box full of mice not a box of brown mice. The box that Barry takes the mouse out of is brown so no error was made on Rubin's part.

Josh records videos for Tiffany by connecting a camcorder to a VHS VCR. Why not just record with the camcorder's internal VTR? It'd be much easier, produce a higher-quality image, and be much easier to preview on the TV.

Right after the scene with Kyle and Rhonda, they all get on the bus heading to the clinic to donate sperm. Right before that, they all ask Kyle how it went with Rhonda and he pulls out her underwear. E.L. says "did you kill a cheetah?", but it is actually leopard print.

When the woman on bus is talking to Beth she mentions a van story in the year 1985 before they started making minivans, however the first minivans went on sale in the US in 1984.
