The performers were Klea Blackhurst, Todd Buonopane, Mary Callahan, Robert Cuccioli, Joyce DeWitt, Natalie Douglas, John Epperson, Anita Gillette, Hunter Ryan Herdlicka, Dee Hoty, Christine Toy Johnson, Luba Mason, Julia Murney, Brad Oscar, Christine Pedi, Eve Plumb, Robbie Rozelle, and Kevin Zak. As previously reported, the highly buzzed about musical Ghostlight, by popular up-and-comers Matthew Martin and Tim Realbuto, presented an industry reading on Monday, January 13th at Theater Three on West 43rd Street, following two highly-attended backer's auditions on December 2nd at The New 42nd Street Studios. Kevin Lambert Broadway's Godspell presented the January 13th reading, which was directed by Realbuto and Martin and featured a starstudded 18 person cast, including Drama League nominee and Great Comet star Phillipa Soo, three time Tony nominee Carolee Carmello, Tony nominee Robert Cuccioli, Jennifer Hope Wills, Kimberly Faye Greenberg, Trevor McQueen, and Abigail Ludrof. Alison Holman Freedom's Song provided the musical direction.

As previously reported, the musical Ghostlight, by Tim Realbuto and Matthew Martin, which had two starry backer's auditions on December 2nd at the The New 42nd Street Studios in NYC, has added a 29- hour industry reading next month due to popular demand. This is one of the first times a new musical has added another presentation nearly a month after its first one. The December 2nd evening was directed by Martin and Realbuto and featured an all-star cast which included 'That's So Raven's' Anneliese van der Pol as Olive Thomas, Three-time Tony nominee Carolee Carmello as Billie Burke, Tony nominee Robert Cuccioli as Ziegfeld, 'Pippin' star Rachel Bay Jones as Molly Cook, Kimberly Faye Greenberg as Fanny Brice, and Trevor McQueen as Jack Pickford.

The Jonathan Larson Award-winning musical by Andrew Gerle and Ernie Sugarman is based on the 1941 Frank Capra film of the same title that starred Barbara Stanwyck and Gary Cooper. During the 'back-to-school' period, Spider-Man is giving free limited edition Spider-Man Turn off The Dark backpacks. Some backpacks have a 'golden ticket' that gives them backstage access to meet cast members and have a backstage tour. Last night, August 29, the latest Medal of Honor recipient, Staff Sergeant Ty Carter, attended Spider-Man Turn Off The Dark. This past Monday, Carter was honored by President Obama this past Monday for rescuing a fellow soldier in Afghanistan. At the end of the performance, Bob Cuccioli Green Goblin gave a curtain call speech honoring Carter, and then welcomed him back stage for a meet and greet with cast members Rebecca Faulkenberry and Reeve Carney. Robert Cuccioli, the Tony nominated star of Jekyll and Hyde, will play Florenz Ziegfeld, Jr. in an upcoming industry reading of the musical Ghostlight. Ghostlight, which has book, music and lyrics by Matthew Martin and Tim Realbuto, tells the true story of Ziegfeld Follies girl and silent film star Olive Thomas, her rise to fame in the Follies alongside Fanny Brice, her affair with a married Ziegfeld, her Hollywood marriage to movie star Jack Pickford, and ultimately her tragic downfall which led to her mysterious death at age 25 in Paris.

Gingold Theatrical Group's Project Shaw presented Bernard Shaw's madcap comedy Too True To Be Good at The Players Club 16 Gramercy Park South in Manhattan. David Staller produced and directed. In Too True To Be Good, a glamorous pair of jewel thieves Charles Busch and Robert Cuccioli convince a chronic young convalescent Ryann Redmond to steal her own jewels and run away with them to a tropical paradise. Her over-protective mother Jackie Hoffman comes chasing after them and a riotous time is had by all. This is Shaw's 1931 madcap high-comedy journey, which takes on fad diets, the medical profession, the military, war, religion, and sex. It's a short and lively comedic lark.

Just yesterday, the cast of Spider-man Turn Off The Dark, including Reeve Carney, Robert Cuccioli, Rebecca Faulkenberry, and Christina DeCicco celebrated the show's 1,000 performance on Broadway with special surprise guests. The reviews and audiences may have yawned when “Chaplin” debuted on Broadway last summer, but the bio musical received some love this morning when Robert Cuccioli and Laila Robbins announced the 63rd annual Outer Critics Circle at the Friar’s Club. In addition to star Rob McClure, the show received seven more nominations, trailing behind only “Pippin” (11 nominations) and “Kinky Boots” (nine nominations) and tying "Cinderella" to be the third-most nominated show of the 2012-2013 season. Also singled out were Off-Broadway musicals “Dogfight” and “Here Lives Love,” which received five and four nominations, respectively. Outer Critics Circle, the organization of writers covering New York theatre for out-of-town newspapers, national publications and other media beyond Broadway, reports that multi award-winning stars Robert Cuccioli and Laila Robins will announce the nominees for the 2012-13 season on Monday, April 22nd 11Am at The Friars Club 57 East 55th Street- between Park and Madison Avenues. Outer Critics Circle will post award nominations in 23 categories and are the first major BroadwayOff-Broadway award nominees of the New York theater season.

Hot off the heels of his role in "Pitch Perfect," Skylar Astin is moving on from singing in a college a cappella group to getting spanked by a college sorority. In the new comedy "21 and Over," Astin plays Casey, one of two buddies (the other played by Miles Teller) who surprise their friend, Jeff Chang (Justin Chon), at his campus dorm in celebration of his 21st birthday. One crazy night goes all sorts of wrong when Jeff gets piss drunk and the guys need to get him home before the break of dawn, a task made all the more challenging due to the fact that they don't have his address.
