Red, starring Bruce Willis and Morgan Freeman, is a highly entertaining blend of action and comedy, now on Netflix. The movie is based on a comic book series, with familiar faces like Helen Mirren and John Malkovich. While Red 2 is also available on Netflix, it's not as well-received as the original but still worth a watch.
Bruce Willis and Morgan Freemans underrated action-comedy movie, Red, is now available to stream on Netflix. Bruce Willis is best known for playing John McClane in the Die Hard franchise, a role which catapulted him to success in 1988 and cemented his legacy in the action movie genre. Meanwhile, Morgan Freeman is most notable for The Shawshank Redemption, though his distinctive voice has featured in multiple genres and numerous movie roles. The two veteran actors only appear in a handful of movies together, despite their long-running careers, but Red is arguably their most underrated movie appearance.

The final episodes revealed that Chip (Carson Rowland) was the one who raped Imogen (Bailee Madison) and Tabby (Chandler Kinney), Sheriff Beasley (Eric Johnson) raped Angela in high school, and A stood out for Archie Waters, Angela’s sister. Their father, the mastermind, was Principal Clanton (Robert Stanton). While Imogen did stab Archie during their final confrontation, he survived — and broke free in the hospital, killing the deputy watching him and Sheriff Beasley before going to take out Chip. Aguirre-Sacasa and Calhoon Bring discuss those deaths, bringing Kelly (Mallory Bechtel) into the Losers Club, and more. Chip is dead? Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa: ...

Yet another Stephen King novel is set to get the TV treatment. While folks may be more dead set on seeing some of Stephen King’s older work — like It, The Dark Tower, Firestarter, or The Mist — on the big and small screen, we can’t forget that the dude’s been writing pretty great novels in recent years as well. Most recently, King’s put out a trilogy of hard-boiled detective novels. The stories started with Mr. Mercedes, continued with Finder Keepers, and concluded with End of Watch.
We’ve known for some time that the first book would be adapted for the small screen, but after being announced, back-burnered, and then brought back to the fold, it became easy to lose track over what the actual status of the project was. Now, Audience Network has announced that the 10-episode limited series has a premiere date of Wednesday, August...

"We had so much fun writing Love Child," says Robert Stanton. "We had a blast. But I'd be disingenuous if I said I didn't think of it as an acting showcase." Performing in the play was neither his nor co-writer Daniel Jenkins' initial ambition, but as the project progressed, playing 20 characters in a work about theatre seemed the natural thing to do. Now running in repertory Off-Broadway with Lee Blessing's A Body of Water, the comic two-hander depicts an Off-Off-Broadway troupe mounting the Greek tragedy Ion by Euripides. Beleaguered actor-manager Joel is "struggling to figure out who his family is and where he fits in," says Jenkins, who plays him and other characters. "One of the themes is family. This is about a theatre family, and as we know, it frequently becomes a dysfunctional family. What we look at here is, how does it work? How is it a blessing?...

Gigantic is the story of two odd ducks falling in love. Paul Dano (whom you last saw preaching and being yelled at by Daniel Day-Lewis in There Will Be Blood) stars as Brian Weathersby, a shy 28-year-old salesman of expensive Swedish mattresses in New York. He has elderly parents (Jane Alexander and Ed Asner) and two older brothers (played by Robert Stanton and Ian Roberts, one of the founding members of the Upright Citizens Brigade). His day-to-day is filled with working on his application to adopt a Chinese baby, and that's pretty much it. When he meets slacker heiress Harriet 'Happy' Lolly (Zooey Deschanel), who's picking up a $14,000 mattress for her overbearing dad (John Goodman), the two fall into a tentative connection, punctuated by strange happenings. Brian is stalked by/has hallucinations of a homeless man who's constantly beating him up, and Happy works nights at some QVC-type television show.

Does this follow the rules where Zooey has to date some dude younger then her in all these weird romcoms? I think so, and yet, I still want to see it.. badly. Yes, I'm a sucker for this type of crap. Got a problem with that?
Somewhere in the distance someone is screaming Next!
