Marvel superheroes, when written well, have sophisticated and relatable human backstories, and each hero has a group of fans behind it, drawn to the characters' down-to-earth plight. Spider-Man, for instance, is a "regular guy" who has to balance his superhero duties with practical concerns such as paying rent, landing photography gigs, doing laundry, and taking care of his wife. Iron Man is a super-genius and a playboy, but he has also wrestled with alcoholism and is constantly criticized for his ego.
But who are we kidding? The human traits of Marvel superheroes are secondary to their colorful costumes, fantastical powers, and outlandish ultra-fights. When Marvel fans get together, they don't have nuanced discussions of Spider-Man's personal development and maturity, they talk about which character he could beat up in a fight. Every Soul Reaper Captain in Bleach wields a Zanpakutō, and they can all use Bankai. A handful of Lieutenants have also achieved Bankai over the course of the series. The Thousand-Year Blood War Arc introduced several never-before-seen Bankai, and they were all highly effective in battle. Several notable Soul Reapers did not reveal their Bankai during the conflict.
Most of these Soul Reapers are former Captains, and several of them were members of Squad Zero, who were tasked with protecting the Soul King. Some of these Soul Reapers could not use Bankai because of a seal or other circumstances, and one Soul Reaper, in particular, died before they could reveal it. Some Soul Reapers simply decided never to use Bankai, because the situation was not ideal, or because they relied on other skills.

Master Jinshi of The Apothecary Diaries is a man with beauty so irresistible that he renders women into absolute puddles wherever he goes. With soft features and a lean, combat-ready physique, he is a perfect blend of feminine good looks and masculine charm that threatens to topple the hard line that is drawn between the men and women in Natsu Hyuga’s fictional Tang Dynasty.
Jinshi is among the most attractive anime men in recent years, his grace rivaling that of even the imperial courtesans of his own series. However, the androgynous allure of his character is not something new in the anime genre, as it has been introduced in many other “pretty-boy” type figures before him. And every one of them possesses a face and charisma that can topple empires.

Kaguya Ōtsutsuki was the final villain of the original Naruto series. She is an extraterrestrial being who originally came to Earth to cultivate a Chakra Fruit for her partner, but she betrayed him and took the fruit's power for herself. Kaguya gives chakra to humanity, and her bloodline has continued for centuries through various clans. Given Kaguya's god-like strength, it is no surprise that many of her descendants are powerful as well.
The Senju, Uchiha, Hyūga, Uzumaki, and Kaguya Clans can all trace their lineage back to Kaguya, and each clan has produced Kage-level ninja. Most of Kaguya's descendants wield at least one kekkei genkai that she originally possessed. Many of her descendants can be considered prodigies, and most them can fight a Tailed Beast on their own.

Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez was the Sixth Espada in Aizen's Arrancar army and many Bleach fans assumed he had died at the hands of Nnoitra Gilga. The Thousand-Year Blood War revealed that Grimmjow survived, and he is now helping Ichigo with Yhwach. Grimmjow has become much stronger since his last appearance, but there are still a number of Soul Reapers who can destroy him in battle.
Most of the Soul Reapers who can destroy Grimmjow are Captains with Shikai and Bankai. Squad Zero is said to be stronger than the Thirteen Court Guard Squads combined, and several of its members can beat Grimmjow easily. A handful of Lieutenants can beat him as well. Shuhei Hisagi's Zanpakuto Kazeshini may seem weak, but its true power lies in its ability to revive him infinitely. His initial misunderstanding of Kazeshini's purpose hindered his access to its full potential in battle. Shuhei's Bankai, Kazeshini Fushi no Kojyo, creates an inescapable cycle of death and rebirth for both him and his opponent.
Shuhei Hisagi became a fan-favorite character despite having a relatively minor impact on the overall Bleach storyline. More importantly, his Shikai Kazeshini isn't very special. Despite the Ninth Division's lieutenant displaying a high level of proficiency with his Zanpakuto, its abilities largely pale in comparison to those of other Shinigami. This is why his captain Kensei Muguruma urges him to achieve Bankai.
In the penultimate chapter of the Bleach manga, Shuhei claims to have acquired Bankai through training with Kensei. However, he is roasted by Toshiro, Rangiku, and even Kensei himself, who dismiss Shuhei's claim because,...

In Naruto, there are three ninja ranks. Genin are the lowest level of ninja, and they are typically sent on D-ranked missions. Chunin are ninja who have developed leadership and tactical skills, and they usually handle C-Rank and B-Rank missions. Jonin are highly skilled and highly experienced ninja who can perform A-Rank and S-Rank missions. Jonin are considered to be superhuman, and there are not many of them. That being said, some Jonin stand out more than others.
Jonin are affiliated with a specific land or village, and they basically lose that status if they become rogue ninja. They also temporarily lose this status if they join the Anbu or if they become a Kage. Some Jonin are so skilled that they are known throughout the Ninja World, and they are all capable of performing impressive feats on the battlefield.

Kafka Hibino is the main protagonist of Kaiju No. 8, and for most of his life, he was an ordinary human who aspired to fight Kaiju alongside his friend Mina. One day, a strange Kaiju entered his body and transformed him into a Kaiju-human hybrid with immense durability and physical strength. Kafka now has the power to defeat Kaiju with a single attack. Kafka seems unbeatable while using his Kaiju powers, but there are a few characters from Bleach who can defeat him.
Most of the Bleach characters who can beat Kafka are Captain-level Soul Reapers who can use both Shikai and Bankai. As one of the Big Three, Bleach is one of the most successful shonen series of all time. Bleach fans love the characters and power systems, and it helps that the series is filled with action. Over the course of the series, many Bleach characters have shown their full power, but there are several characters who have never shown what they are truly capable of.
Most of these characters are either Lieutenant or Captain-level Soul Reapers who possess a Bankai release that they have never revealed. There is also a Visored and Quincy who have not revealed their true power either. Certain characters seemingly withheld their true strength, while others were prevented from using their full power. At least one character died before he could do anything.

It's been 20 years since we last saw Rick Moranis in a movie. With movies like Ghostbusters, Little Shop of Horrors, Spaceballs, and Honey, I Shrunk The Kids, he was one of the most popular comedic actors from the 80's and 90's. I was a huge fan of Moranis and his work! There came a point where he decided to step away from acting to focus on his family after the passing of his wife.

At his peak, Carrot Top was a standout comic who made waves with his interactive stand-up shows, which often included crazy props such as confetti cannons and fog machines. Throughout the '90s Carrot Top, whose real name is Scott Thompson, transformed the world of stand-up comedy and ultimately made the transition into TV, with his first appearance taking place on The Tonight Show in 1992. But where has he been these days? Carrot Top hasn't been seen on TV in a while, nor has he been attending many red carpet events. Perhaps his absence from mainstream Hollywood is what inspired his segment on Oprah Winfrey's Where Are They Now?. That being said, Carrot Top hasn't disappeared at all. While he most...

Formerly of “Awkward” and “Chelsea Lately,” the writer/comedian/actor played ringleader during the proceedings, which introduced the show’s concept. Utilizing a point-based system — two points for a name drop, three points for flirting with the host — it’s likely the first talk show to require a scorekeeper and actively pit its host against his or her guests. New York – Mercedes-Benz USA CEO Steve Cannon unveiled the Mercedes S63 Amg Coupe, the high-performance version of the new S-class coupe, at the New York International Auto Show Wednesday alongside the brand's unmistakable baritone voiceover provider Jon Hamm. Story: New York Auto Show: U.S. Carmakers Poised for Strong 2014 "I finally get to do one of these unveils," interrupted the Mad Men actor for scripted comedic effect -- alluding to the luxury carmaker's penchant for hiring TV actors to pimp their rides at auto shows -- as he and Cannon pulled off a satin sheet to

Los Angeles — Film fans everywhere can identify that movie-trailer voice: A booming baritone that entices viewers with cryptic explanations of the latest upcoming epic.
The business behind such voice work is the backdrop of Lake Bell's new film, "In A World...," of which she is writer, director and star.
Real voice-over artists – the men and women who've spent years invisibly announcing the latest Taco Bell temptation, the promise of Firestone tires or upcoming Lifetime programs – say it's good to watch their profession being acknowledged on screen, even if the portrayal isn't perfect.
"It was fun to have that be a thing – that voice-over even got mentioned," said actor Steve Staley after seeing the film. "It was great to see our field get screen time in a realistic way," added Staley, who gives voice to cartoon and video-game characters and commercials.

This year marks the 125th anniversary of Mercedes-Benz. While consumers may see that as a sign of longevity, competitors are using the opportunity to paint the German automobile maker as outdated and irrelevant. Most explicitly, Cadillac has launched a number of shots at Mercedes, with commercials touting its vehicles as the "New Standard of the World."

"We've got competitors out there that are trying to slap a label of old, stodgy luxury on our brand," says Steve Cannon, VP of marketing at Mercedes-Benz USA.
This Super Bowl, it's Cannon's task to translate the century-old value of Mercedes to younger audiences. The company is using the big game to make a big splash in social media--and the company has brought out some big guns for the non-traditional ad campaign: tennis superstar Serena Williams, Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz, and Run-dmc's Rev Run.

Unlike many of the automakers exhibiting at this week's Detroit Auto Show, Mercedes-Benz isn't putting all of its sustainable eggs in the hybrid and electric basket. Instead, the automaker is pumping research and development dollars into diesel, hybrid electric, and fuel cell technology, with 10 billon euros spent on alternative fuel train technology in the past year.
While Mercedes is known for its diesel vehicles, the two big announcements at the auto show were the Sls Amg E-cell electric gull-winged supercar and an impending around-the-world drive in the B-class F-cell--the first around-the-world trip for a fuel cell vehicle. Why these announcements now?
"It's easy to parade out concept cars," says Steve Cannon, VP of Marketing for Mb-usa, in an obvious reference to the slew of automakers who are showing off hybrid and electric concept cars at the auto show. But, he says, the E-cell and F-cell are real vehicles that customers...

Programs like Kiva have popularized the concept of microloans for global entrepreneurs, but small green businesses in the U.S. are still woefully underfunded. That's where the Conservation Fund's ShadeFund comes in. The new program raises donated capital for small loans that are given to green entrepreneurs. The inaugural sponsor: Mercedes-Benz, which plans to give loans to between 10 and 12 Signature ShadeFund Entrepreneurs in the next two years.
The first two projects to get funding are CityBench, a Connecticut-based company that gathers wood from city trees that come down in storms or have reached the end of their life to create furniture; and Bluebird Hill Farm, a small farm in North Carolina that sells lavender, herbs, and vegetables. Mercedez-Benz will lend $25,000 to CityBench and $20,000 to Bluebird Hill Farm.

For some reason, the future always seems to be a few decades away. 1984 was published in 1949. Terminator, which appropriately enough was released in 1984, set 1997 as the date for the apocalyptic “Judgement Day.” It seems strange now, after the turn of the Millennium (which happened rather uneventfully, with little more than an endless repeat of an old Prince song to mark its passing) to look back on things like Mad Max, Y2K, or the still older imaginings of such retro science fiction classics as Fahrenheit 451 or Soylent Green, but for decades, sci-fi imagineers alternated between the chills of gloom and doom and utopian fever.

The Soul Reaper Academy (every society needs an academy – see Plato, Aristotle, Hogwarts), founded 1000+ years ago by Commander-General Yamamoto, graduated the youngest person to ever become a captain, Hitsugaya Toushiro. Serious in countenance, sharp of mind, fierce in battle, child-like in stature (brilliantly voiced by seiyuu Romi Park and by English voice actor Steve Staley), with spikey white hair and turquoise eyes that made him an outcast in his rural Rukongai district (where most souls live; the Sereitei, Court of Pure Souls, is for the shinigami and nobility), and thus a loner, he nonetheless mastered the strongest ice-based Zanpakutou ever in its full bankai form, Hyourinmaru (manifests as an ice dragon and a regal humanoid). He stands tall amongst the captains, despite his relative youth, respected and well loved. But his soul knows only hard work and justice, unlike those who had defected...
