Gina Marie Krasley, known for a 2020 episode of the TLC reality show “My 600-lb Life,” died on Sunday at home in Tuckerton, N.J., surrounded by family, according to her obituary. She was 30.
In her Season 8 episode of “My 600-lb Life,” Krasley revealed that her struggles with weight began as a child, when she coped with physical and verbal abuse from her father by turning to food for comfort. The episode also followed her relationship with her wife Beth and the strain that her health put on the couple’s home life.
After appearing on the show, Krasley remained in the public eye via social media. As noted in her obituary, dance was a lifelong passion of hers. HollywoodNews.com: Anthony Bregman of Likely Story and Peter Saraf and Marc Turtletaub of Big Beach announced that Paul Rudd has signed on to star in “My Idiot Brother,” a comedy about family and the sacrifices it takes to deal with them. Based on a screenplay by Evgenia Peretz and David Schisgall, “My Idiot Brother” will be directed by Jesse Peretz. Production is slated to begin in July in New York. Bregman, Saraf and Turtletaub will produce for their respective companies. Caroline Jaczko, Stefanie Azpiazu and Aleen Keshishian will executive produce. Rudd and Peretz have worked together previously on “The Château.” Rudd will next be seen starring in Jay Roach’s “Dinner for Schmucks” opposite Steve Carell and James Brooks’ “How Do You Know” opposite Reese Witherspoon. He will also be producing (alongside Judd Apatow, Wain, and Ken Marino) and starring in David Wain’s “Wanderlust” opposite Jennifer Aniston.

HBO Video snaps up DVD rights to 'Duane'
HBO Video has secured DVD rights to Matt Mulhern's comic drama Duane Hopwood, starring David Schwimmer as an Atlantic City casino worker in danger of losing visitation rights to his daughters after a drunk driving charge. IFC Entertainment, which is releasing the $1 million-range film theatrically Friday in Philadelphia in a slow urban rollout via IFC Films, nabbed second-window pay TV rights, and producers Lemore Syvan of Elevation Filmworks and Marc Turtletaub of Big Beach are finalizing a deal with Showtime for the first window.
