Following the premiere of Investigation Discovery’s Quiet on Set, a docuseries that exposes the disturbing behind-the-scenes environments of various TV shows at Nickelodeon, The Naked Brothers Band alum Allie Dimeco has shared her own experience on the set of the show, which aired from 2007-09.

In the musical mockumentary series starring Nat and Alex Wolff as fictionalized versions of themselves, Dimeco played the former’s love interest, Rosalina. During the third season, Dimeco’s character, who is a teenager, has a short-lived romance with a French man named Michel (played by Jake Hertzog). In a scene of the two-part episode “Naked Idol,” he kisses her in front of Nat, causing Rosalina’s temporary exit from the band.

FX’s “Dave” will return for season 3 with a lineup of guest stars including Demi Lovato, Don Cheadle, Killer Mike, Machine Gun Kelly, Megan Fox, Rick Ross, Travis Barker, Usher and more. Dave Burd, star and executive producer of the series, announced the names on Thursday during FX’s portion of the TV Critics Assn. press tour.

The third season of the series premieres April 5 on Fxx and will stream on Hulu the next day. In the third season, Dave headlines his first-ever tour — looking for love along the way.

“Dave” is co-created by Burd and Jeff Schaffer, and executive produced by the pair along with Luvh Rakhe, Vanessa McGee, Kris Eber, Rob Rosell, Kevin Hart and Hartbeat Productions, Scooter Braun, Marty Bowen, Mike Hertz and Sb Projects’ James Shin and Scott Manson. Oscilloscope Laboratories has unveiled the first trailer for It's a Disaster, director Todd Berger's comedy that is debuting on VOD platforms March 5 before its April 12 theatrical release. A few details are coming in about a new comedy thriller called It's a Disaster. In this post-apocalyptic adventure, four couples meet only to find their relationships devolve into panic as the world comes to an end. MSN is jumping on board the latest trend in original web series—reality TV-style shows—with its new hosted competition series The Tastemaker which launched today. The series features six social media influencers battling it out for a $10,000 prize as “The Tastemaker.” In the running for the top spot are web series host Jesse Draper (The Valley Girl), along with Christine Esther, Jonathan Nafarrete, Brett Gursky, Raymond Roker and Morgan KcKean. The show makes no excuses for the fact that this is essentially an online popularity contest, even titling its first fan voting as “The Official Tastemaker Popularity Contest!” on Sodahead. Judging the competition are some recognizable faces in the web video world all with their own social media followings including Shira Lazar, Kelly Perdew (Season 2 winner of ‘The Apprentice’) and “adventuregirl” Stefanie Michaels Each episode is laid out as a “challenge” where, in typical reality show fashion, contestants face elimination.

YouTube: The Movie? Not really, but with all the hype around the upcoming Aaron Sorkin penned Facebook movie—The Social Network—we were bound to see a YouTube parody on the movie’s compelling trailer. This one (above) from Jeff Loveness actually makes us want to see that movie more than the Facebook one. “You like being a joke Keyboard Cat? You want to go back to that?! I made you!” [YouTube] Whitney Port, star of The City, MTV’s popular New York spinoff of The Hills, is set to star in a web series next month, according to sources of NY Magazine’s Vulture blog. The web series is Alloy Entertainment’s recently announced scripted project Hollywood Is Like High School With Money, which is set to premiere on September 14 on AlloyTV.com. Also joining the cast is Ian Harding (Liars) and Brian Hallisay (Privileged), who both had previous roles in Alloy-produced series.

It wouldn't be bad advice if someone told you to play to your strengths, to work with what you know best.
