Aléa Figueroa is an Emmy Award-winning producer, actor, and Film Festival Director committed to telling meaningful stories and empowering future storytellers. She leads creative and strategic efforts for And You Films and the Spooky Empire Film Festival, blending narrative impact with community engagement. In 2024, she produced the Emmy-nominated documentary Remembering Innsbruck: The Story of the 1979 Avalanche for Stetson University-a film that helped launch the restoration of Hulley Tower, which broke ground in February 2025.
Aléa holds a BA in Theatre Arts from Rollins College and began her career as an actor with credits in Cobra Kai, Magic Mike's Last Dance, and The Right Stuff. A proud SAG-AFTRA and AEA member, she transitioned into producing in response to her own experiences navigating the industry as a woman.
In 2024, she founded Reel Dreams And You, a nonprofit that supports aspiring and underrepresented filmmakers through mentorship, on-set training, and filmmaking workshops.
Aléa also serves as Marketing Chair for DeLand's Got Talent and is passionate about creating safer, more inclusive creative spaces where artists can thrive-on both sides of the camera.
