Adept at both comedy and drama, veteran "second lead" and character actress Joyce Van Patten was born on March 9, 1934, in New York City. Prodded by a typically assertive magazine editor (stage) mother, Joyce and her equally famous older brother Dick Van Patten displayed natural talent and began performing regularly at a very early age.

Of Dutch, English and Italian descent, Joyce was auditioning for modeling roles before reaching her first birthday, and by the age of 6 was on Broadway performing in the play "Popsy" (1941). In the same year she and brother Dick appear on radio with "Reg'lar Fellers," a summer replacement series for "The Jack Benny Program." As an adolescent, Joyce appeared in the Broadway plays "This Rock" (1943), "Tomorrow the World" (1943), "The Perfect Marriage" (1944), "The Wind Is Ninety" (1945) (also with Dickie) and "The Bees and the Flowers" (1946).

Following her relatively brief marriage (1950-1953) to Thomas King at the age of 16 which produced her son Thomas Casey King, who later turned actor and billed himself as Casey King, Joyce moved to teen parts on such TV anthologies as "Armstrong Circle Theatre" and "Kraft Theatre." Joyce's infrequent movie roles would be some of her most interesting and quirkiest. She played naïve "square" Peter Sellers's plain-Jane girlfriend in the "hippy" comedy I Love You, Alice B. Toklas! (1968); played one half of a romantic couple with real brother Dick(!) in the teen dramedy Making It (1971); portrayed one-half of a bickering couple held hostage and given marital advice by a house-breaking thief in Bone (1972) (featuring son Casey); played an embittered woman picking up hitchhikers in Thumb Tripping (1972); played a conniving Southern belle fiancée in the Lucille Ball version of Mame (1974); portrayed a bedridden trailer park trash wife in the murder mystery The Manchu Eagle Murder Caper Mystery (1975); and a blunt Little League supervisor in the hit comedy The Bad News Bears (1976). She also returned to Broadway as a replacement in the two-person comedy drama "Same Time, Next Year" (1975) and the short-lived "Murder at the Howard Johnsons" (1979).

Other vital theatre, both Broadway and regional, in later years included "I Oughta Be in Pictures" (1980), "The Supporting Cast" (1981), "Brighton Beach Memoirs" (1983), "Rumors" (1988), "Jake's Women" (1992), "Ring Round the Moon" (1999), "Taller Than a Dwarf" (2000), "Harvey" (2003), "The Oldest Profession" (2004), and "Rabbit Hole" (2006) and "The People in Pictures" (2011). She was a standout as the overbearing mother to Jason Beghe's quadriplegic son in the horror flick Monkey Shines (1988).

Raul Julia was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, to Olga Arcelay, a mezzo-soprano singer, and Raúl Juliá, an electrical engineer. He graduated from Colegio San Ignacio de Loyola High School in San Juan. Here he studied the rigorous classical curriculum of the Jesuits and was always active in student dramatics. Julia was discovered while performing in a nightclub in San Juan by actor Orson Bean who inspired him to move to the mainland to pursue other projects. Julia moved to Manhattan, New York City in 1964 and quickly found work by acting in small and supporting roles in off-Broadway shows. In 1966, Julia began appearing in Shakespearean roles, creating a deliciously conniving Edmund in "King Lear" in 1973 and a smoldering Othello in 1979. Julia also made his mark on the musical stage playing one of the "Two Gentlemen of Verona" during its run in 1971, and a chilling role of Mack the Knife in "The Threepenny Opera" in 1976 and as a Felliniesque film director in "Nine" in 1982. His last theatrical movie was filmed shortly after The Burning Season: The Chico Mendes Story (1994) when he traveled to Australia to shoot all of his scenes for Street Fighter (1994), based on the popular video game where he played the villainous General M. Bison. His last role was a supporting part in another made-for-TV movie titled Down Came a Blackbird (1995).

On October 16, 1994, the weakened and gaunt Raul Julia suffered a stroke in New York City where he fell into a coma a few days later and was put on life support. He was transferred to a hospice in nearby Manhasset, Long Island where his weakened body finally gave up the struggle on October 24, at age 54. His body was flown back to Puerto Rico for burial where thousands turned out for his state funeral to remember him. Two honoring ceremonies were held at Colegio San Ignacio de Loyola High School, and at the Headquarters of the Institute of Puerto Rican Culture prior to his burial.

Since its premiere on Claro Video, the series has broken rating records, reaching the highest audience figures ever achieved on that platform.

In the Mexican comedy film "Doblemente Embarazada" (Doubly Pregnant), Maite is the lead actress and associate producer. Having graduated from Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art, Rupert Evans started his career working mainly in television. Notably in British costume dramas such as 'Sons & Lovers' starring Sarah Lancashire and Hugo Speer, North and South, 'Crime and Punishment' and 'Fingersmith' with Imelda Staunton and Charles Dance. Will Geer was born William Aughe Ghere in Frankfort, Indiana, to Katherine (Aughe), a teacher, and Roy Aaron Ghere, a postal worker. Will admired his grandfather, a man who said hello to trees by their Latin names and who had used what he brought back to Indiana from the California gold rush to build Frankfort's first opera house. Will pursued a college major in botany, from Chicago through a Master's degree at Columbia, but ultimately gave in to his need to perform. Starting with touring company tent shows and river boats, his six-decade career included Broadway, movies, television; many Shakespeare roles; one-man performances as Walt Whitman and Mark Twain. His best known role was his last, Zebulon Walton, grandpa in the long-running television series The Waltons (1972). Less well-known was his life-long role as a political agitator and radical ("Someone who goes to the roots, which is the Latin derivation of radical") and folklorist/folksinger - he toured U.S. government work camps in the 1930s, singing with Woody Guthrie and Burl Ives. He was blacklisted during the McCarthy era for refusing to testify before the House Committee on Un-American Activities. In 1951, he formed the "Theatricum Botanicum," a repertory theater in Topanga Canyon, California, where he not only coached actors but also encouraged outdoor philosophical discussion and, of course, folksinging. At his deathbed, his family sang "This Land Is Your Land" and recited Robert Frost poems. His ashes lie in a corner of the Shakespearean garden on the grounds of his Theatricum Botanicum.

Shad Gregory Moss was born on March 9, 1987 in Columbus, Ohio to Teresa Rena (Jones) and Alfonso Preston Moss. When Shad was five, he started his rap career using the nickname "Kid Gangsta." One year later, he took front stage during "The Chronic Tour" and impressed rapper Snoop Dogg, who later gave him the name Lil' Bow Wow. Snoop Dogg later hired him as an opening act and introduced him to Jermaine Dupri, the producer who helped Shad's career.

He backed up the success of his double platinum debut album "Beware of The Dog" (2000) with 2002's platinum "Doggy Bag." It was during the release of his first album that he publicly took his nom de guerre.

After having several guest spots on TV shows such as "Moesha" and "The Steve Harvey Show," Shad made his big-screen acting debut in 2002's All About The Benjamins, which he immediately followed with his first starring role, Like Mike, and a new stage name- Bow wow.

Chaske Spencer is a multiple award-nominated actor who can be seen in the Peacock horror-thriller TEACUP alongside Yvonne Strahovski and Scott Speedman from James Wan' Atomic Monster, inspired by Robert McCammon's novel Stringer. TEACUP follows a group of people in rural Georgia who must come together in the face of a mysterious threat in order to survive. Ian McCulloch (YELLOWSTONE) adapted the novel.

His recent co-lead opposite Emily Blunt in Hugo Blick's limited series THE ENGLISH (Amazon/BCC) garnered him critical acclaim including: BAFTA Awards and Royal Television Society (RTS) Programme Awards with a 2023 Leading Actor nomination at the 2023 Gotham Awards. He joined the Marvel universe as 'Henry "Black Crow" Lopez' in ECHO (2023). Chaske is well known for his portrayal of 'Sam Uley' in the Twilight Saga: New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn I and II. Chaske's career began with a passion for photography, but he soon found himself in front of the camera. After moving to New York City, he balanced bartending and waiting tables with acting, landing his first role in the off-off Broadway play Dracula as the title character. He went on to perform at The Public Theatre and The Roundabout Theatre Company, eventually catching the eye of casting director Rene Haynes who supported him in the next stage of his career.

Finn Carter was born on March 9, 1960 in the Mississippi Delta. Her mother, Margaret W. Carter, and her father, Hodding Carter III (best known for his position as the spokesperson for the State Department in President Carter's administration), were attending a play at the Greenville Little Theatre when her mother went into labor. The newspaper announcement of her birth foresaw stage-lights for the second child of Hodding and Peggy. Finn attended Walnut Hill School of Performing Arts for high school and then went on to Skidmore College followed by Tulane University. In 1983, Finn moved to New York City and was soon after offered a three-year contract on the soap opera, As the World Turns (1956). She kept her first love alive, the theatre, by becoming a member of the, now defunct, Circle Repertory Company. Finn met her first husband, Steven Weber, on the set of As the World Turns (1956). When Steven was cast on the sit-com Wings (1990) in 1990, the couple split their time between N.Y.C. and L.A. until their divorce. Finn remarried in 1997 and has two beautiful girls (born in 1997 and 2000) and one step-daughter as the result of that union. Finn also has two sisters who both live in Mississippi and one brother who lives in Maine.

Robert Joseph Camposecco, known as Bobby Campo was born in Wheeling, West Virginia, on March 9, 1983, and is an American actor. Debuted in the movie Vampire Bats (2005) television for 2005, in this movie he was credited as Bobby Camposecco. He gained popularity after starring in the movie Legally Blondes (2009) The film that elevated the career of Bobby is The Final Destination (2009).

Tom grew up in the small towns of Richmond and Crystal Lake, Illinois. He began performing at home, with his 10 brothers and sisters, creating puppet shows, short films, music and radio dramas, before moving on to school plays and community theater.

He graduated from The Goodman School of Drama, as it became the Theatre School at DePaul University. His work on the Chicago stage began in the ensemble of the "Body Politic Theatre", where he starred in such memorable productions as "Translations", "The Playboy of the Western World" and "Falstaff & Hal". Other notable stage work includes "What the Butler Saw", "Candida" and "The Mystery Cycle" at the Court Theatre, and "Free Advice from Prague" and "The Courtship of Carl Sandburg" at Northlight.

Tom was head writer and announcer of the NPR musical variety show, "The Flea Market". He directed plays for the Curious Theater, played music with both Balderdash and Jamie O'Reilly & The Rogues, and was artistic director of the Call to Action Theater.

While working on-stage in Chicago, Tom was cast as "Eliot Ness" in the television series, The Untouchables (1993) and spent two years shooting on his home turf. Moving to L.A., Tom starred in the NBC comedy, The Pursuit of Happiness (1995), with Melinda McGraw and Brad Garrett. He's played recurring roles on Big Love (2006), Boston Legal (2004), Eli Stone (2008), The Guardian (2001), Spin City (1996), From the Earth to the Moon (1998) and, most recently, Parenthood (2010). Other favorite TV work include Grey's Anatomy (2005), Curb Your Enthusiasm (2000), Just Shoot Me! (1997), ER (1994) and The Larry Sanders Show (1992).

Traveling to the western Rockies, Tom spent four years portraying the beloved "Dr. Harold Abbott" on the family drama, Everwood (2002), opposite Treat Williams. He went on to direct episodes of "Everwood" as well as ABC's Brothers & Sisters (2006) and the new CW series, Hart of Dixie (2011).

Tom plays "Dr. Peter Pelikan" on the hit NBC series, Parenthood (2010), opposite Ray Romano. He stars as "President Abraham Lincoln" in the Salvador Litvak film, Saving Lincoln (2013), alongside Penelope Ann Miller and Lea Coco. He also appears as "Governor Samuel Reston" on the ABC political thriller, Scandal (2012), opposite Kerry Washington and Tony Goldwyn.

Tom is married to actress Nancy Everhard, who played "Katherine Ness" on The Untouchables (1993). His daughters, Meg O'Reilly Amandes and Nia O'Reilly Amandes make up two-thirds of the Chicago band, "Midnight Moxie". And his son, Ben Amandes, is himself a budding hyphenate.

Alexandra Essoe was born on 9 March 1992 in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. She is an actress and writer, known for The Pope's Exorcist (2023), Midnight Mass (2021) and The Haunting of Bly Manor (2020).

Christopher Shyer was born and raised in Toronto, Canada, to Shirley Hannah Marie, a cosmetician and Dennis Lemoine Johnston, a mechanic. The youngest of 6 children, and a nomad since he was 9, Shyer made his Canadian television debut in "Riverdale" (1997), CBC's answer to the long running Soap Opera, "Coronation Street" and in the following year he starred in the feature film "The Falling" which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival (1998)

A Dual US Citizen, and British Ancestral Visa holder, he has been a professional actor for over 30+ years now, doing theatre, film and television, in both Canada and the United States. His favorite stage roles include: Rev. Shannon in "Night of the Iguana", Daniel in "The Good Life" by Daniel Brooks (LA Premiere), Sam in "Mamma Mia" (Broadway), Per Se in "Curvy Widow" by Bobby Goldman (Off-Broadway), and Joseph Smith in "The Book of Mormon" (National Tour). He has over 70 film/television credits to his name, including Clint Eastwood's "J.Edgar", "Fierce People" with Diane Lane, "Madam Secretary" (CBS), "the Blacklist" (NBC) and "Two Sentence Horror Stories" (CW Network).

As an Independent self producing producer, Shyer co-produced a Theatre Festival in Canada, featuring Tennessee Williams' "Night of the Iguana" and "Summer and Smoke" in 2004. Executive Produced and Co-Directed a production of "The Wild Party" in Vancouver, BC in 2010, and "City of Angels" at Performance Works in 2017. He' s also produced Charity Fundraising Concerts for the Stanley Park Ecology Society, Broadway Cares, Abzyme Research Foundation, and Sheppard Pratt Mental Health System. After attending Sheridan College, he has studied and continues to work with Deena Levy, Larry Moss, Lesly Kahn, and Bob Krakower.

Christopher was a co-producer of the Shocking Buckwheat Pictures award-winning short "Awkward" in 2008 and produced "Stupid Chainsaw Tricks" for the 2010 Crazy 8s Film Fest, and won the 2003 Leo Award for best lead performance in "The Invitation", and was nominated for a Jessie award for his work in "El Salvador" by Rafael Lima.

Martin Ingerman was born on March 6, 1936 in New York City. He had an older brother named Arthur. He had a rough childhood and was often picked on. After he finished school, he went into the army. Later, he appeared in a couple of game shows and won. He wanted to be an actor so he went to California. He lived with another guy and actually ended up dating and eventually marrying his roommate's girlfriend.

Marty made a couple of movies, but made it big when he starred with John Astin in I'm Dickens, He's Fenster (1962). Soon after the show went off the air, he and his wife divorced.

He met and married Shirley Jones and became stepfather to Shaun, Ryan, and Patrick Cassidy, sons of Jones from her marriage to Jack Cassidy. He worked some, but Shirley was primarily the breadwinner. Eventually he started putting some money away and in a couple of years was able to accumulate over a million dollars. In 1999, he and Shirley separated for six months, but then got back together. They live in Encino, California, with three dogs.
