In one scene, Kenny remarks that he never sees Janice eating. In fact, the only female that is shown actually eating is Dirka; the other girls are shown with plates of food or touching food but never eating it.
In each book group meeting, Kenny and Clare either sit together or directly across from each other.
Rory McCann plays the most characters out of the cast - a total of four: Kenny, Kenneth (from Clare's book), Sancho (from Clare's dreams), and Angus.
Though the book group met at her house, Fist didn't pick the scandalous book 'The Sexual Life of Catherine M'. Instead it was Jean, who was rooming with Fist at the time. This means Fist never picked a book during the series' run.
Each episode takes place over the course of a month.
