From the start of the episode Carrie is in a sour mood that just snowballs as the show progresses. When Doug mentions a great new Italian restaurant he wants to take her to, she does nothing put douse water all over the idea from the start but she grudgingly goes.

At the restaurant she's still in a cranky mood and again douses water on Doug trying to have an enjoyable evening. Then she takes her sour attitude out on the waiter, the owner and the entire restaurant because she thinks they insulted her when she actually treated them like crap first.

She goes so far as to ban Doug from going there ever again. Now Carrie has always had an attitude but here it's in overdrive and completely unreasonable. It's a great episode loaded with laughs, but you're left wondering just what the hell Doug is doing with such an angry negative woman. I love the episode, but really hate Carrie in this one.

Everytime I see or hear about the latest Karen on line, I ALWAYS think about this episode. Doug said it best......"Your Family Crest Is A Fist In The Middle With The Words, I Want To Speak To Your Manager". Carrie is definitely the "True Karen".
