Yep, this one definitely has a Farrelly Bros quality to it! The way things connect to each other and to the main theme of the show is very different, like a calculation that happens in the fashion of a magic trick. The charming professor Alex (whom we remember from Seinfeld, but more notably as Mrs. Stiller nowadays) adds a lot, also thanks to having an actually sympathetical character to work with, unlike the little material she had as Seinfeld's most perfect date who somehow got hated by his friends.

And to top that: Earl's lip and ear after the bee stings looked hilarious, and through whose eyes we got introduced to them was top notch! YES, maybe this was what previous episodes lacked: A little bit of visual sauce for this great, great, great series!
