Bill Wheldon is released from Prison after serving eight years, he vows to get even with the three men that helped convict hin, Archer, Harley and Burke. A man believed to be Richard Harley ends up in hospital, apparently with amnesia.
The final episode of this unusual series, and it's a fairly good send off, good to see Maguire tackling a double murder, with a killer out on the loose.
There are a few dramatic scenes, and plenty of curiosity and intrigue surrounding Hartley, will he survive or suffer the same fate as the others.
Maguire states in the opening dialogue that it's his first time working with The Murder Unit, I'm not sure that's totally accurate, he's definitely solved murders.
Well acted and quite well produced, it looks good, Wheldon certainly looks like the quintessential 1950's villain.
A shame the series came to an end here, but to be fair there wasn't a whole lot more they could have done, they covered quite a lot.
A pretty decent end to the show.
7/10.
