The 2016 HBO sitcom Vice Principals, starring Walton Goggins and Danny McBride, has resurfaced with new-found streaming success.

Per Collider, the 8-year-old sitcom is the ninth most streamed show on Max. The series follows Goggins and Mcbride as vice-principals trying to crawl their way to the top through often self-destructive scheming. Fans of White Lotus will recognize Goggins as Rick Hatchett from the recently ended Season 3. He and Mcbride have also worked together on The Righteous Gemstones. Despite going off the air in 2017, Vice Principals was very well received critically. The series' first season has a critical score of 64% on rotten tomatoes, and its second season sits at an outstanding 100%.

When the previous principal, played by Bill Murray, retires, Neal Gramby (Mcbride) and Lee Russel (Goggins) decide to team up to overthrow the current principal, Dr. Belinda Brown (Kimberly Hébert Gregory). The series was created and directed by Mcbride and Jody Hill.

Cruise, who hasn’t confirmed if this is his final outing as Ethan Hunt, shows no signs of slowing down. The two-minute M:i – The Final Reckoning trailer teases the death-defying stunts to come in this eighth entry of the blockbuster action franchise.

In addition to Tom Cruise, The Final Reckoning stars Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Esai Morales, Pom Klementieff, Henry Czerny, and Mariela Garriga. Holt McCallany, Janet McTeer, Nick Offerman, Hannah Waddingham, Tramell Tillman, and Shea Whigham also star. Tina Fey’s 30 Rock was one of the finest comedies that aired on TV. While it did not enjoy the ratings success of other similar workplace sitcoms like The Office or Parks and Recreation, it was nominated for a total of 103 Emmys. Fey used her signature surreal humor to bring to life the world of television that she knew and prospered in.

The show parodied her experiences as the head writer of Saturday Night Live with a fun-filled take on the corporate structure of NBC. Fey played Liz Lemon, the head writer of the series Tgs with Tracy Jordan. She has to work alongside network executive Jack Donaghy, played by Alec Baldwin.

Technically, Season 2 of “The Last of Us” begins where Season 1 left off. According to Joel, thieving raiders descended while Ellie was unconscious, even though viewers of the HBO drama — and before that, players of the hit video game — know the truth: that Joel went on a rampage after realizing the doctors’ attempts to extract a cure from the Cordyceps-immune Ellie would kill her. Video game movies are hot and that makes it the perfect time for Disney to bring a beloved game series to the big screen!

For a long time, movies based on video games didn't have the best track record. With the exception of 1995's Mortal Kombat and the Resident Evil series, the genre has been hit with multiple bombs and critically ravaged films. 

Disney themselves know that. In 1993, they released Super Mario Bros under its Hollywood Studios Banner, which regularly tops the list of the worst video game movies. It was everything that fans have slammed about these movies: Terrible casting, a plot bearing almost no resemblance to the games, a lousy script, and everything coming together in the worst way. 

In Disney's defense, they're not the only ones who have made this mistake with other video game movie flops. However, the last few years has seen the tide turning.

As we hurtle towards the arrival of Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, the big question remains: will this be Ethan Hunt’s last mission? Is Tom Cruise really ready to hang up the rubber mask? Six years have passed since Tom Cruise announced that the seventh and eighth films in the Mission: Impossible franchise would be shot back-to-back, and he has been in production on these films for a long time. We saw Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning back in 2024, and now the follow-up, Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, is almost ready to make its way out into the world, heading toward a May 23rd release date. Just a few days ago, Cruise showed a new trailer for the film to the audience at the CinemaCon event in Las Vegas – and now that new trailer has dropped online! Is there a more apt name for a franchise than "Mission: Impossible?" While there are numerous film properties that are (impressively) still going after nearly 30 years or more, there are far fewer that've maintained a consistent level of overall quality during that period, let alone kept a single star at the helm with each installment. This longevity can be chalked up to several factors: the template set by the original Bruce Geller 1966-1973 TV series, the various directors who've been invited to play in the films' sandbox, and most of all, the tenacity of Tom Cruise, who's proven his dedication to the franchise time and again, demonstrating his craft and risking his life with each successive entry.

During last night's Final Four games on CBS, Paramount Pictures announced that the brand new theatrical trailer for Tom Cruise's highly anticipated Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning - which originally debuted at CinemaCon last week - will be released online Monday!

Whether it'll drop during the National Championship Game or earlier in the day remains to be seen, but we'd wager on the latter since that's generally when the studio tends to launch new footage. We'd then expect a TV spot to debut during the game, directing fans online to check out the full-length trailer.

Plot details remain under wraps, but we learned at CinemaCon that the film will pick up two months after the events of Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning, with Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) still seemingly on the run and presumably on the hunt for the sunken Sevastopol.

In the alternate history envisioned by the game, the Lake District in Cumbria is quarantined off from the rest of the U.K. to prevent the spread of radioactive fallout, and five years later an amnesiac survivor of the event wakes up in a bunker in the quarantine zone. “The White Lotus” may regularly explore wealth inequality, but it turns out that the HBO show’s cast members all stand on equal ground — financially, at least.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, “The White Lotus” producer David Bernad revealed that the acclaimed dramedy pays its cast members the same rate every season. “Everyone is treated the same on ‘The White Lotus,'” Bernad said. “They get paid the same, and we do alphabetical billing, so you’re getting people who want to do the project for the right reasons, not to quote ‘The Bachelor.'”
