The release of international Citadel spinoff Citadel: Diana has introduced American fans of the original series to the great Italian actors in its cast. The Italian spinoff of the 2023 Prime Video series Citadel, which was released last year, released its first season on the platform on October 10. It's currently available in the original Italian with subtitles, as well as dubbed in both English and French.

The original Citadel's cast featured a number of recognizable stars, including Richard Madden, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Stanley Tucci, and Lesley Manville. Citadel: Diana is a spy-thriller that transports audiences to Milan in an imagined version of the year 2030. The cast of Blade Runner 2099 keeps on expanding. Tom Burke (Furiosa) and Maurizio Lombardi (Ripley) are the latest additions to the hotly-anticipated Prime Video series, which is currently in production.

According to Deadline, Burke and Lombardi are set for recurring roles in Blade Runner 2099, although character details have not been revealed. They join a cast that includes Michelle Yeoh, Hunter Schafer, Dimitri Abold, Lewis Gribben, Katelyn Rose Downey, and Daniel Rigby, as well as Johnny Harris, Amy Lennox, Sheila Atim, and Matthew Needham. Production on the limited sci-fi series began in Prague in May 2024 and will move to Barcelona at a later date.
