This film was the product of director Barbara Tavares submitting to competition the only Brazilian team, the carioca "Life as cinema", to the International Documentary Challenge, a worldwide competition which requires a team to produce, shoot and edit a short-film documentary with a specific surprise theme, in no longer than 5 days. "Think BIG, Think small-scale" is the result of such challenge.
