It is no secret that the genre of horror is saturated, like a wet diaper, with films that should never really have been made, films that are so bad they’re, well, bad. Now, you might not agree with the films I mention here, you might even be a fan of some of them, and that’s fine, this is merely my personal opinions on what I feel are the true horror’s of the horror genre, the poison in the water supply that made me, when I saw them, want to Linda Blair my guts against the nearest wall. December was a slow month for horror additions to the Netflix streaming library, but we wanted to let readers know about a handful of new titles that were recently released, including The Devil Inside, Night of the Living Dead: Reanimation and The Grudge 3. Don’t forget that all completed seasons of Supernatural are still available on Netflix, along with Seasons 1 and 2 of The Walking Dead.
There are also four seasons of The Twilight Zone available, which we always recommend to horror fans that don’t own the entire series already. Below is a list of many of the newly released titles, along with titles we previously covered. Keep in mind that this list is from the Us Netflix streaming library and may differ depending on the deals Netflix has in place in other countries.

What can be said about a film entitled Girls Gone Dead? If that name doesn’t tell you everything you need to know, then look no further than the tagline: “Just When You Thought It Was Safe to Go Topless…” Now you’re getting the picture.
Rebecca Foster (Katie Peterson) has all the makings of a horror stereotype because, let’s be honest, that’s what the filmmakers were going for. Leaving a heavily religious home where dreams of rituals torment her, she sets off with her cheerleading gal-pals for a party weekend in Manatee Creek. Nearby, Crazy Girls Unlimited, a riff on Girls Gone Wild for those who haven’t put it together yet, is attacked by a masked killer wielding a medieval weapon. If you can’t see it coming, Foster and her friends are next.

One of the things that we need to talk about is why, as horror fans, are we so damn obsessed with the 1980′s. There are plenty of decades that have just as many credible horror flicks as the 80′s. Hell, there may be a decade in there that surpasses the 80′s in volume of fan loved films (no… Yes!). What’s the reason for our fetish? What’s the obsession? Why do we pounce on the Blu Ray release of movies we still own VHS copies (and cling to the old format lovingly)? Well, it’s the same reason you’re going to find Girls Gone Dead entertaining. The tag line: Just When You Thought It Was Safe to Go Topless. My initial impression: No one wants to see these man boobs (moobs), but I can pretend I’m seventeen again and let the nips fall where they may. That...

Directors Michael Hoffman Jr. (Spring Break Massacre) & Aaron T. Wells have been pretty tight lipped about the upcoming Girls Gone Dead. From what I gather expect something that is a cross between American Pie & The Slumber Party Massacre. In fact, the new poster for Girls Gone Dead pays tribute to The Slumber Party Massacre if you pay careful attention to how the bodies of the film's potential victims are placed in this poster image. In fact, this poster image is the first bit of news to come out about Girls Gone Dead in some time. So for the meantime enjoy this poster and a plot synopsis (down below, after the jump) for Girls Gone Dead until we can find out some more info about this film later on.
In Girls Gone Dead, Rebecca, a beautiful young woman coming into her own, has been raised in a sheltered religious environment by her overbearing mother.

Joe Hollow
From Joe Hollow, the director behind the indie slasher event of 2011 – “Cut”, and executive producers Shawn Allen & Debra Lamb comes "Mountain of the Flesh Eaters". Inspired by a short story written by Shawn Allen, Mountain of the Flesh Eaters follows in the terrifying tradition of such horror classics as The Hills Have Eyes & The Texas Chain Saw Massacre as a series of brutal, unrelenting murders plague a small town and the sheriff that gets caught up in the chaos.
Looking to join the ranks alongside those classics, Mountain of the Flesh Eaters will actually be told from the point of view of the flesh eating, blood thirsty cannibals themselves. With Mountain of the Flesh Eaters, film writer Joe Hollow is looking to get beyond the stereotypical characterizations and get to the heart of what makes these cannibals who they are. What makes them tick? What makes them engage in these cannibalistic activities?...
