The Man Who Would Be Vogue

Engrossing series with brilliant acting, directing, beautiful design (architecture, clothing etc.) The out-of-sequence time line with interweaving stories was confusing, so I cleared up plot confusion by going to Wikipedia (as I was watching) then back to the series. Some scenes are violent (including sexual violence) Sissies (like me) can look away. :) The in-depth character exploration leads to a sense of the stark human cost of homophobia and a plea for compassion.
