Ashley Aufderheide is an up-and-coming actress who has gotten her career off to an impressive start with even her first roles being big parts of the shows and movies they appear in. Born on November 20, 2004, Aufderheide began her career at the young age of three, appearing in Ralph Lauren, Saks, and Juicy Couture advertisements (via MofflyLifestyleMedia). After a few years of modeling, Aufderheide managed to pivot her career into an acting one, first appearing in the 2014 comedy-drama, Infinitely Polar Bear, in a critical role for such a green actor.
Her performance in that film was enough for the young actress to earn a small role in the series, Unforgettable, that same year. From there on out, Aufderheide has been a part of some major TV shows and popular movies, almost always in memorable parts. It seems that she's skipped the part of her career that most successful child actors have to wade through,...

The ever-busy James Franco has taken on a darker role in his latest film, “The Institute.” Co-directed by Franco and Pamela Romanowsky, the movie is a period psychological thriller set in 19th century Baltimore. Now, ahead of its March release, Entertainment Weekly has unveiled the first trailer.
“The Institute” centers on Isabel Porter, a young woman (Allie Gallerani) who, after the untimely death of her parents, checks herself into the mental hospital Rosewood Institute. While there, she encounters Dr. Cairnes (Franco) who subjects her to unconventional bizarre, pseudo-scientific experiments in brainwashing and mind control.
“I can give you the freedom you desire,” he says in the clip, “but you will need to trust my methods — unorthodox though they may seem.”

It’s been a long time coming for Justin Kelly’s “I Am Michael.” The drama, starring James Franco, Zachary Quinto and Emma Roberts, premiered at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival, where it earned a rave review from IndieWire’s own Eric Kohn but failed to find a distributor for well over a year. Fortunately, Brainstorm Media has finally released the drama in theaters and VOD, and it’s a powerful true story that well worth seeking out.
Franco stars as Michael Glatze, a former gay activist and co-founder of the Young Gay America magazine who eventually denounced homosexuality. Quinto plays Glatze’s former boyfriend, while Roberts stars as a young Christian woman Glatze falls for during his religious reawakening.

Don’t mess with James Franco!
In an exclusive clip from Lifetime’s newest thriller High School Lover, Franco — who executive produces and stars in the film — politely yet aggressively warns a young man to stay away from his daughter.
“Hey, I told you to stay away from us,” Franco’s character tells his daughter’s love interest, Christian Booth (played by François Arnaud), while grabbing his arm.
“I’m thinking you’ve been spitting lies into Kelly’s head about me,” responds Booth. “That makes me very upset. I’m also thinking you don’t want to see me get upset.
