This is a good example of what a bad french movie can be.
The main actress looks like an idiot, the plot is stupid, and it seems to have been written by dumb people.
Can you believe that a mother can phone to 3 bullies and talk to them like Liam Neeson in the 1st "Taken" ? Geez, she's talking to 3 children...
I gave up after 20 minutes inside. Don't waste your time with this, it's dull and boring.

The kid is lovely his father is very pleasant the tiny bad guys are funny and the story is OK....
So what's wrong ? the main character is certainly the worst actress you can imagine...After 5 minutes I deeply wanted to strangle her and after a mere 40 minutes I gave up and switched to CNN starring marvelous comedians like Donald Trump or Bolsonaro
The woman who plays the mother is too aged for the part...she's vulgar crudely indecent shallow annoying corny and irritating....she's even scatophile !..Like King Midas in reverse she can change a good average movie into a nice piece of dirt
Her relation with her son is also very disturbing...NOONE in France will call her 10 years old boy "my cat" and when she laid down next to him i thought I was in for a dirty movie !
Please stay away from this junk ! If you want to enjoy a good movie about french preteens there is a must "François Truffaut's l'argent de poche" (in the USA "Small change" or in UK "Pocket Money") a ***** flick where the actress doesn't please herself by making dog sh.. sandwiches !

I don't know what all the hype is about? I found this movie quite pleasant to listen to. For sure somethings are over the board but hey it's only a movie and depicts school bullying, sometimes funny, sometimes sad and over the top. But all in all it has a good moral ending

Poor little Arthur - an adorable child if there ever was one - is being bullied by three older boys at school. His doting and overly-protective mother finds out about it and decides to intervene. And that is where the fun starts. The mother's increasingly crazy and unlikely strategies to give the trio of miscreants their comeuppance are the basis of the humour. I know that some people will complain that no one would ever act like the mother in this story. They're probably correct (at least I hope so!) That's what makes this funny and clever though. Remember, is just a movie and it is purposefully over the top.
Bullying is a serious problem, however; and this movie does not shy away from that. In fact, for all of its fun, this movie has a lot to say about the two vices that drive it along - bullying and overprotective parenting. In fact it is the humour that makes that message, when it comes, so powerful.
The actors in this movie do a great job, and all of them seem to be having a lot of fun. The plot moves quickly and, at only 85 minutes in length, the movie never becomes dull. This movie will probably best be enjoyed by preteens and adults. I know I really liked it.
