I am not even sure where I should start. I am surprised that this movie didn't land Ridley Scott in an early grave, it tarnished his creation so very badly... Here we have an excellent cast of stars and one of the best screenwriters(Joss Whedon). Unfortunately it seems that either the director or the producers failed to grasp what a good hand they were dealt and they mucked it up in every imaginable way.

The entire movie from start to finish is extremely corny. There is one suspensful scene in the entire flick which involves a bit of swimming, but even that doesn't come across as a very big deal.

I have watched this movie a number of times, trying to give it the benefit of the doubt, but a couple of times I just straight up dozed off.

If you want to see a good Alien movie stick with the first 2, or maybe delve into Prometheus or Romulus.

This little baby stinks to high heaven.
