🎉 Celebrating 40 Years of Care at Marco Island Urgent Care! 🎉 We honored 40 years of serving the Marco Island community with a special celebration. Guests enjoyed a sneak peek of our brand-new facility, with tours led by NCH Chief Operations Officer Jon Kling. The new, 24,000-square-foot facility will be comprised of two floors. The first floor will house the new Marco Urgent Care Center and will feature 12 private exam rooms, one private triage/patient intake room, new equipment including CT and X-ray, and a covered ambulance entrance. The second floor will house future physicians’ services. A heartfelt thank you to our generous donors, Steve and Barbara Slaggie and Pat and Scot Kaufman, for their incredible support.

Today, we bid a fond farewell to The Telford Center for Education which has played a pivotal role in advancing the NCH's mission of delivering exceptional healthcare through continuous learning and professional development since the early 1990s. While this symbolic event celebrated the past – we embrace the future of the innovative R.M. Schulze Family Heart and Stroke Critical Care Center, the future home of the Rooney Heart Institute and Wingard Stroke Institute. The NCH Bonita Freestanding Emergency Department Team fired up some fun at the 6th Annual Big Green Egg Grill Fest in Bonita Springs! With perfect weather and a mission to support local children's programs, the team collaborated with the North Carolina Kiwanis Club to serve up mesquite-rubbed chicken wings, paired with a special North Carolina sauce. 🤤 Beyond the delicious bites, the team also shared Early Heart Attack Care (EHAC) flyers to help educate our community about heart attack prevention and early symptom recognition. Oh, and let's not forget the best part - Austin G., Director of the Bonita FSED, and Dylan T., Assistant Director of the Bonita FSED, rocking chicken wing hats! 🐔 🎩
