Gunther Fox was diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL) less than a year after graduating college. After years of treatment, he felt inspired to give back to others impacted by cancer and found the perfect fit as a life-long gamer. He started streaming in support of #StandUpToCancer and eventually joined the #SU2CStreamTeam’s Discord community as a volunteer moderator. “I was thrilled to be invited to be a part of helping others like me,” he says. “Doing so has given me some purpose I don't think I'd have otherwise found and I'm endlessly thankful.” Learn more about the SU2C Stream Team and how to sign up at SU2CStreamTeam.org.

Your donations at work! The #StandUpToCancer-Fanconi Cancer Foundation-Farrah Fawcett Foundation Head and Neck Cancer Research Team, led by Dr. Agata Smogorzewska and Dr. Barbara Burtness, has made great strides in identifying new preventive and treatment strategies for patients who develop head and neck cancer due to HPV infection or Fanconi anemia, both groups who have been historically difficult to treat. The team is now carrying this work forward by designing evidence-based clinical trials to bring better treatment outcomes to patients. 🙌 #HeadAndNeckCancerAwarenessMonth
