“I highly recommend Yogesh as an executive data science leader. Having worked alongside him for the past two years, I can confidently say he is exceptional in his field. His ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships and break down challenging problems into actionable insights has been instrumental in driving the growth of analytics at Chargebee. Yogesh has a remarkable talent for strategic decision-making and leads analytics projects from inception to implementation, transforming innovative ideas into high-impact solutions. He strongly advocates for a data-driven culture, consistently championing the value of analytics and ensuring that data remains at the heart of our decision-making process. Moreover, his excellent stakeholder management skills allow him to seamlessly align business needs with data-driven strategies while promoting team collaboration. He has created an environment that fosters learning and innovation, encouraging experimentation and continuous improvement. We rolled out multiple initiatives from zero to one - revenue growth segmentation, a machine learning model to prevent churn, LLM synthesis for customer call data, and ICP profiling of customers. Yogesh's invaluable guidance has contributed significantly to my personal and professional growth, and I am genuinely grateful for the opportunity to work with him. He would be a tremendous asset to any organization seeking a visionary leader in data science.”

How do you segment your traffic and target different audiences with A/B testing?
Experimentation is critical for data-driven product and marketing decisions, but its success is determined by setting the right goals and hypotheses before it begins. The most impactful experiments go beyond validation—they shape future strategy. Before finalizing your objective, Ask: 1. Why does this matter? 2. So what? 3. Does this really help us meet our objectives? Design for Future Strategy: A good experiment tests a hypothesis and informs the next iteration. • Example: Instead of testing if Google Sign-In boosts adoption by 10% (a binary yes/no), refine the hypothesis to assess its impact on login success rates, conversion, sign-ups, or offer acceptance. Adopting this helps us go beyond and lets us focus on outcomes.
