Iconic episodes of EastEnders from Dirty Den’s divorce papers to Peggy’s emotional goodbye are available to watch online ahead of the show’s 40th anniversary.
Some 6,821 episodes of the soap feature on BBC iPlayer, after episodes in blocks of years were uploaded dating back to 2008 in recent times.
Fans can take a trip down memory lane and relive some of the show’s favourite moments before this week’s anticipated live episode plays out.

Remember when Sharon’s Dennis was killed off just before New Year's Eve 2005? (Sob!) or when Tiffany was mowed down by Grant in 1998?
As well as blocks of years from 2008 featuring on iPlayer, a selection of Christmas episodes from 1986 to 2007 were also released late last year.
It meant that fans could revisit festive storylines from Jamie’s death to the Branning’s affair showdown – and 1986’s iconic episode that broke the record for soap viewing at the time.
The streaming service also has a Classic EastEnders category, featuring the likes of Pat and Frank’s affair, the Mitchell brothers plunging into the Thames and the ‘Who Shot Phil?’ reveal from 2001.

What to expect for the 40th-anniversary episode
Following the soap’s hour-long episode that transmits on the actual anniversary tonight (Wednesday, February 19), for the first time in the show's history, EastEnders fans will be able to cast their vote on Denise Fox’s “potential suitor”.
To access the vote, EastEnders viewers must have a BBC account - you can register for an account at bbc.co.uk/account, but make sure you do it today.
The vote will officially open at 8.30pm tonight at bbc.co.uk/eastenders, and will close at 7.10pm on tomorrow night (Thursday) so the result can be incorporated into its live episode from 7.30pm.
