Compliance Guidelines
In order for the Roland Group to maintain its worldwide reputation for integrity and quality, we must continually strive to earn the trust of our customers, our shareholders, our employees, our industry and our broader society by acting with a high sense of ethics. These guidelines represent Roland's dedication to achieve these goals.
I. To Society
- We will comply with all relevant laws, regulations and internal regulations, and act with a high sense of ethics.
- We will respect the rights of all human beings, we will not discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, age, nationality, disability or sexual orientation, and we will not harm the dignity of individuals.
- We will be conscious about the importance of protecting the environment and we will comply with relevant environmental treaties and laws.
- In order to protect fair and free competition, we will comply with basic rules on transactions, including domestic and overseas competition laws. We will engage in fair competition without engaging in any activities that result in violations of competition laws, such as cartels, unlawful collusion, illegal price controls and abuse of superior positions.
- We will comply with anti-bribery and anti-corruption legislation.
- In order to promote international security, we will comply with laws and regulations relating to domestic and overseas imports and exports, and we will conduct appropriate controls.
- We will comply with the laws and regulations of each country to protect personal information. Specifically, we will collect, manage, and use personal information properly, and protect the rights and privacy of individuals in accordance with all applicable local and national laws.
- We will not engage in any conduct that infringes upon the intellectual property rights of others, and we will utilize the intellectual property rights of our business partners after entering into appropriate agreements. We will not acquire or use trade secrets of others by fraudulent means for any reason.
- We do not have any relationships with antisocial forces and do not engage in any transactions with them.
II. To our Customers
- We will comply with laws and regulations related to product safety and will endeavor to provide the best products in terms of safety, performance and quality.
- We will comply with the laws and regulations of each country involved in labeling, advertising, and promotion, and we will accurately explain the content of our products and services.
III. To our Business Partners
- We will make fair and impartial choices of business partners and build long-term, trustworthy relationships with them based on the premise that we will fulfill our social responsibilities together.
- We will maintain strong relationships with our business partners which are based on mutual respect. Accordingly, we will comply with laws and regulations concerning subcontracting.
IV. To our Shareholders and Investors
- We will properly use, manage and maintain our corporate assets, and will not use them for any unauthorized purpose. We will not engage in activities that give rise to conflicts of interest with the company, such as working for competitors or contractors for personal gain.
- We will protect the intellectual property of the Roland Group and utilize them to advance our business. We will maintain the company's trade secrets and sensitive business information with the utmost care and confidentiality, and we will use them solely for authorized business purposes.
- We will keep true and accurate accounting books in accordance with relevant laws, regulations and in-house regulations.
- We will make proper tax filings in compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
- We will disclose our financial condition, business activities and other management information in a timely and accurate manner.
- We will never engage in insider trading and we will not engage in activities that may induce any third-parties to insider trading.
V. To our Work Colleagues
- We will not make any statements or conduct that constitute any form of harassment or an abuse of power.
- We will comply with all labor laws and regulations, ensure workplace safety and cleanliness, and we will maintain and promote employee health and wellness.
