Renewable energy capacity in Brazil 2010-2024

Brazil's renewable energy generation capacity amounted to nearly 194.1 gigawatts in 2023, an increase of more than 28.8 percent in comparison to the renewable energy capacity reported in 2020. In 2020, the share of renewables in Brazil's domestic energy supply surpassed 48 percent.
