Strictly Come Dancing 2016 week 7: Ed Balls receives his highest score of the series, says he's found his inner Beyoncé
Bruno: 'It was a recognisable quickstep'

While the UK remains in turmoil over Brexit, one shining star has emerged from the political world to conquer the hearts of Britain's people: Ed Balls.
The former Labour MP has quickly risen in popularity in thanks to his current tenure on the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing despite the judges consistently giving him bad scores.
However, week seven was somewhat of a turn around for Balls who danced his highest scoring dance of the series in week seven, earning him 27 points from the judges. Unfortunately, this still placed him and partner Katya Jones at the bottom of the rankings.
The pair decided on a delicate quickstep to The Beatles classic song “Help”, adding a Laurel and Hardey-esque slapstick routine to the mix.
Balls managed to keep up with his partner’s footwork in tremendous style yet the pair avoided doing any lifts (perhaps because of a near fall weeks ago).
Of the dance, judges Bruno said "It was a recognisable quickstep," while Craig added: "You are actually improving.”
Following the dance, Balls was interviewed by The Mirror saying "my inner Beyonce just burst out" during the performance, adding he won't be quitting the show at any stage.
Meanwhile, on the other end of the spectrum, Louise Redknapp and Kevin Clifton managed to amaze the judges with their Tango to “Tanguera”, scoring them a huge 39 points. The results will be announced tonight on BBC One.
