30 October: By command of The Queen, the Viscount Goschen (Lord- in-Waiting) was present at Heathrow Airport, London, this morning upon the Departure of the President of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana and Mrs Jagan and bade farewell to His Excellency and Mrs Jagan on behalf of Her Majesty.
31 October: Mr Terence Gardiner was received by The Queen when Her Majesty decorated him with the Royal Victorian Medal (Silver).

30 October: The Duke of Kent, Vice- Chairman, the British Overseas Trade Board, today arrived at London Heathrow from Singapore and Malaysia.

31 October: Princess Alexandra, accompanied by the Hon Sir Angus Ogilvy and attended by the Lady Nicholas Gordon-Lennox, this afternoon left Heathrow Airport, London, to carry out official engagements in New York.
On arrival at the Airport, Her Royal Highness was received by Miss Ann Swift (Consul-General of the United States of America), Sir Derek Dodson (Special Representative of the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs), Mr Michael Street (Head of Service Delivery, British Airways plc) and Mr Robin Baxendale (Manager Special Facilities, Heathrow Airport Limited).

The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment mounts the Queen's Life Guard at Horse Guards, 11am; 1st Battalion Scots Guards mounts the Queen's Guard, at Buckingham Palace, 11.30am, band provided by the Coldstream Guards.
