Premier League: Newcastle v Liverpool match preview
A look ahead to this weekend’s fixture at St James’ Park

Midday kick offs have often been regarded as slightly dull affairs, but when Newcastle host Liverpool tomorrow lunch time, past results suggests we are in for a goal fest, as thirty goals have been shared between these two sides in their last eight meetings.
Two men who are likely to be on the score sheet if recent history repeats itself are Daniel Sturridge and Loic Remy. The pair currently sit 1 and 2 respectively in the Premier League top scorers chart and given any opportunity, will certainly add to their tallies.
Thanks largely to Sturridge, Liverpool have endured a great start to the campaign and will be hoping to claim their sixth win of the season, inflicting a defeat on a Newcastle side that have struggled to show any consistency in the league so far.
