Battle of the Badges 5 took place on Saturday

WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) - The Battle of the Badges 5 took place Saturday night at the McVean Athletic Center, with 16 bouts on the card with some battle of the badges and first responders getting into the ring.
Boxing Hall of Famer Christie Martin was in attendance for the fights put on by the Watertown Boxing Club.
Another successful night of amateur boxing in the North Country.
“I’m just so happy that the community supports us. We try to do this every year bigger and better. I’m very humbled that the community come out to support us. I know there’s a lot of rough things going on around the world. It’s nice to come in and come together and have a great night of boxing,” said John Pepe.
