Stephen Curry 4th Player in NBA History to Go 0-for-11 from 3-Point Range

Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry finished Monday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers 0-for-11 from beyond the three-point arc, becoming just the fourth player in NBA history to go without making a three while attempting at least 11, per the Elias Sports Bureau (via ESPN.com).

Since the three-point line was added to the NBA in 1979, the only other players to suffer the same fate in the regular season were Antoine Walker in 2001 and Trey Burke in 2015. John Starks did the same in Game 7 of the 1994 NBA Finals between the New York Knicks and Houston Rockets.

Curry's off night didn't deter the Warriors from securing a double-digit victory over the 76ers to extend the team's winning streak to four games. Golden State moved another half-game ahead of the San Antonio Spurs for the top seed in the Western Conference with the win, a 4.5-game lead as of Monday night.

The win made the club just the second in NBA history to secure 50 wins before playing 60 games in back-to-back seasons, per the Elias Sports Bureau (via ESPN Stats & Info). The 1995-96 and 1996-97 Chicago Bulls did the same.

With just 82 games remaining in the season, the Warriors sit in good position to earn the top seed in the Western Conference for the third straight year. Should they do so, the club will likely face an opponent below .500 in the first round before taking on the West gauntlet and potentially reaching a third consecutive NBA Finals.
