The SOLID, FLOW and LAPLACE add-on modules can be used to calculate effective material properties from scanned samples using homogenisation techniques. Since 2020, Simpleware software has included Simpleware AS Ortho and Simpleware AS Cardio, modules for automated segmentation of medical image data that uses artificial intelligence-based machine learning.
