Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, our speaker can no longer make the talk on the 17th April. At such short notice it is not possible for us to find a replacement therefore sadly there will not be a talk this Thursday.
Starting from the lecture on 20th March, talks will now start at 8pm rather than 8:15pm
Reminder - talks have moved from St John's Church to the Hampstead Community Centre

Founded 1899 - Registered Charity No 278114
We aim to promote an interest in all branches of science both locally in Hampstead and across the wider community, and to cater for the layman as well as for those with specialist knowledge.
Donations support everything we do and we are very grateful for any and all contributions. We accept donations for the Society online via stripe as well as at events or at the Observatory.
We have an astronomy section, run an observatory and a programme of talks on various scientific topics in Hampstead, North West London, but have members from all over London and beyond.
The Society is run and staffed entirely by volunteers, who give their time and energy to supporting the Society and its aims.
We post news on facebook and maintain a page on eventbrite for ticketed events such as visits to the Observatory.
